Sylvain Saluseke, IMBA
Executive Leadership; Institutional Relations; Good Governance
Two decades leading organizations through complex institutional, political and governance environments.
Saluseke has held senior executive roles across Central and Southern Africa, building and leading companies in mining services, medical risk management and insurance. His work has required navigating political and regulatory risk, weak contract enforcement and the relationships among government, business and institutional actors required to operate successfully in these markets. He is currently Founder and Director of Kurut Resources Ltd, an investment holding company with interests in mining, medical and engineering ventures across six Southern African jurisdictions.
Across fifteen African markets, Saluseke has worked directly with regulatory authorities, national and provincial officials, and more than 500 hospital and facility principals, while negotiating long-term contracts with multinational mining and industrial operators. He is now developing the governance structure for international projects at the Taproot Foundation, a U.S. capacity-building organization.
