We prefer to get involved before the FPIC process actually begins.
We can lead the entire process from A to Z. By designing a transparent, context-specific process from the outset — including consent protocols, engagement structures and mechanisms for resolving disputes before they derail progress — we can avoid many of the issues and challenges that typically arise during FPIC processes.
But we can step into an ongoing FPIC process at any stage.

TROUBLESHOOTING
When something isn’t working.
When progress stalls or a thorny issue arises, we bring in the specialized expertise needed to identify the problem, resolve the roadblock and move the process forward again.
Whether the issue involves strained relationships, stalled negotiations, an unresolved grievance, a process or engagement problem, or something entirely unexpected, we build the right team around the problem.

AD HOC EXPERTISE
Bring in the expertise you need, when you need it.
Not every mandate requires a full FPIC team. You may need specialized expertise for one component of the process — Indigenous rights law, mediation, community engagement, process design, capacity building, government relations or another specific need.
FPIC International can fill those expertise gaps — for a specific task, a particular stage of the process, or for as long as the expertise is needed.
